Anita’s Bridals

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

These photos were taken last October at the Dallas Arboretum. Since Anita’s wedding was scheduled for December, she decided that she wanted her bridals to include Ruben and her bridesmaids. I’m glad we did it this way because we got some great images!

Beautiful and Expecting

Monday, January 25th, 2010

There are no words to describe how fabulously beautiful Samantha is as an expecting mom. Her skin is flawless, even on her belly! I really love how these photos turned out. Congratulations! I hope you enjoy!

Childress Wedding

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

This wedding blog post is way past due, but had to be done.  My friend, Meredyth, who frequents my studio, asked me to photograph her brother’s wedding in  Jewitt, TX. I had never been there so thankfully I had my assistant, Mindy come along with me. (It was her first time as a second shooter, but I think she did a great job!) It was a beautiful ceremony and cake reception at the bride and groom’s church. Congratulations to the bride and groom!

Mom brought little sweetheart over before Christmas time. Look at her HUGE blue eyes! Only 6 months old and already a knock out… watch out mom! I love all of her different expressions.

Lavigne Family

Tuesday, January 12th, 2010

I always love when the Lavigne’s come over. They are a crazy, fun bunch and I always have a great time. I met Meredyth 5 years ago when she taught at Gymboree. Then she only had one child… now she has 3! Love you guys and thanks for the session!

My son Henry grabbed his suit as soon as he saw Lucy dressed in her jacket and “fancy” clothes. We had to get some shots of the two of them dressed up.

.I love how far apart their heads are. We wouldn’t want them to catch cooties!

Really??? Can you get any cuter than this smile and chubby cheeks!? Such a happy little guy that he only cried when mommy tried to put on his jacket.

Gorgeous Family at Downtown Plano & Haggard Park

Saturday, January 9th, 2010

I met this GORGEOUS family at Haggard Park in Plano. They wanted an outdoor setting but they didn’t want it to look like their friend’s session from the week before. I suggested Haggard Park after I went to check it out and saw the very cool blocks of color on the building across the street. I was so glad when they agreed to this location.

I really enjoyed how fun and outgoing they were!

This family came for a newborn session back  in October. I am a wee-bit behind but couldn’t pass the opportunity to share this beautiful baby girl and her family.

Richard & Calvin

Friday, January 8th, 2010

I was so excited to get to photograph my first cat. I was a little concerned that Calvin wouldn’t “behave” but it turned out that there are cats who don’t claw and maim! My cat would never have put up with getting her picture taken, let alone getting carted off in her crate! Anyway, Richard’s daughter, Melissa, purchased a gift certificate for him to get his portrait with Calvin. I think they both did a wonderful job. I really enjoyed this session and I think the portraits turned out beautiful!

Anita and Ruben 12/31/2009

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

Anita and Ruben are married!!!! Whooo hooo! I am so happy to have been a part of their wedding and New Year’s celebration. Anita was simply gorgeous in her gown and Ruben was equally as stunning. The hall at Cappella Court Gardens was decorated in icy blue, snow flakes and bling, as she called it.
