Jacob at 6 months

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

I can’t believe I get to watch so many sweet babies grow up. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Jacob’s family since his mother carried him! It’s really quite amazing. And, my boys always want to stay home when Jacob and his sister come over because they love to play with Elli! I usually have to squeeze a couple photos of Elli in mid-play date. I love how she keeps up with the boys and her hair says it ALL!

The holidays are almost here!!!

Friday, October 16th, 2009

I can’t believe December is only a month away! I know that everyone is starting to get ready for the season and I would love to help. If you would like to schedule a session for Holiday portraits, please contact me soon. Also, if you would like a custom card design there are a few samples below. You can choose and customize one of the samples below or I can create one just for your family! They are available printed on several different types of papers including standard photo paper in matte or metallic or press printed on stock, canvas, or linen, just to name a few. AND for an extra special treat you can choose a specialty die-cut shape. You can view a sample of one of the shapes on page 2 of the slide show. The gray that surrounds the scalloped shape is actually cut off… Very cool and modern twist!

Look how Sammy’s grown!

Sarah and I were supposed to meet for 3 month portraits of Sammy but things kept coming up. I’m glad we finally got a chance to capture this milestone before he outgrew it! I might be slightly biased because Sarah is such a good friend but doesn’t Sammy have the sweetest smile!?

Newborn Brother

Friday, October 9th, 2009

This post is about a month overdue… I somehow forgot to introduce little baby Nolan and his big brother Grant! I love Grant’s huge blue eyes and how much love he shows his new brother. Congratulations!

Silhouetted Maternity

Friday, October 9th, 2009

My very beautiful friend came over for a maternity session but wanted something a little different. She only wanted an outline of her and her son’s body. I didn’t want it to look too much like an elementary school profile cut out so I tried to get a tiny bit of light wrapping around and accenting some of the minor details like her hair, legs, belly and shoulder. I really like how they turned out and I love that these are very different from what I’m used to producing. Thanks for being a great model and friend AND congratulations on the birth of your daughter!

Ivonne’s Bridals

Friday, October 2nd, 2009

I met Ivonne at Turtle Creek Park in Highland Park. I had never been there before so I was very excited for a new location. Unfortunately neither of us had been there since it was a last minute location change and we both got lost on the way. It took me 30 minutes snaking my way thru Highland Park on the phone switching back and forth with my “voice-activated GPS” (my husband) and Ivonne and her car-load of people until we finally found the correct location.  It was exhausting and yet also extremely funny. Thankfully we had a friendly relationship before this meeting so we were all laughing on the way out of the car! Here are some of my favorites from this session.

This photo is actually a mix of 2 different photos.

This photo was a last minute shot while we were walking to the car.
