Beautiful Priscilla!

Friday, May 20th, 2016

I photographed this young lady’s sister a few years back so I was really excited when her mom contacted me for this senior session. We had a great time walking around Downtown Plano… there is a great “smelling” bbq joint down there somewhere!!! Best of luck Priscilla!

“B” Family Session

Wednesday, September 14th, 2011

I met this beautiful family in Highland Park for a gorgeous afternoon session. I was so excited when Nancy contacted me and asked if I would photograph the dogs with her family. Of course!!! I have 2 dogs of my own and I love animals. A family portrait isn’t of the family unless everyone is in it! ūüôā¬†It was such a pleasure meeting the family and it turns out that we know several of the same people!

This one is my ALL time favorite family image. They look like they should be on the cover of a clothing magazine!

The youngest daughter asked for this image! Girls and teddy bears… timeless!

As we walked away from the teddy bears I asked the girls to quickly pose in this spot. Now look serious… GOT IT! They are GORGEOUS!

I was able to catch just a little sun ray streaming through the trees. Again, these girls are gorgeous!

Yadira’s Quincea√Īera

Friday, August 12th, 2011

Norma called me last month to inquire about photographing Yadira’s Quincea√Īera at the Pioneer Event Center in Grand Prairie. I was so excited to hear from her especially since I had just finished Jazmine’s party a couple of weeks before, which was held at the same location. When I arrived I immediately found the beautiful birthday girl in her gown surrounded by tons of well-dressed teens. Soon after I was able to locate Norma, also dressed in gorgeous evening attire. We quickly¬†discussed the plans for the evening and I got set up and ready to shoot. My part of the night began with¬†candid shots of the¬†guests.¬†For the most part, I find that guests either pose and¬†want to get their picture taken or they¬†cover their face and “shoo” me away.¬†After¬†about 30¬†minutes¬†Yadira danced with her brother and then her father.¬†It became very emotional as Yadira teared up while dancing with her father and then was comforted by her mother as she wiped away tears. But¬†those tears were nothing in comparision to the ones that came as Norma and her sister¬†spoke about¬†Yadira. Norma even brought a card which I believe was made by Yadira when she was younger. Norma’s¬†voice cracked as she read from the card and at times had to pause to catch her breath. It was touching to watch their emotions.¬†Afterward the tears dried up quickly as the dancing began. Everyone took to the floor… even Grandma!¬†It was a wonderful party… I hope you had a great night Yadira! Happy Birthday!!!

Miss J’s Party!!

Wednesday, June 1st, 2011

The Pioneer Event Center was CRAZY a few weekends ago and Miss J celebrated her 16th birthday. Everyone was dressed in their best and partying hard! I’ve never attended a Quincea√Īera so I was extremely excited to get to photograph this one. I had NO idea how much fun it was going to be. They even had live performances, one of which was by a local dance troupe. Very awesome time!

Beautiful Sweet 16!

Thursday, May 5th, 2011

I met Miss J and her girls in Highland Park. On our drive I received a call from her mom who was driving in from Ft. Worth. It was storming and moving straight at us. We decided to go ahead and meet and at least get one image for her invitations. Right at 6pm, our appointment time, it started to storm! I spoke with mom again and it turned out that she went to a different park than me… I was at Lakeside and she was at Flippin. I told her to wait and I would meet her there since the gazebo would give us some shelter. As I headed towards the group the sun came out! We couldn’t believe it!!!! We had a great session and some of the prettiest light with the prettiest group of young ladies. Happy Birthday Miss J!

Fun and Gorgeous Family

Monday, January 31st, 2011

I met the wonderful D family at downtown McKinney. It was a very popular spot for sessions this year. We all arrived a little late due to rush hour traffic but we still managed to get some great images. I love all the vibrant colors!
