Monday, August 13th, 2012

We had 2 sessions this month with Miss A and Mr. C. Poor C got a little bit sweaty so mom decided that he needed an air conditioned session! Either way, I think these babies are beautiful!

Dallas Stars Ice Girls

Wednesday, August 1st, 2012

A couple of weeks ago I got the amazing opportunity to photograph 4 of the gorgeous Ice Girls. I had met a couple of them before while photographing the girls performing during a game but this time I got to work with them individually. Not only are they beautiful but friendly, fun and poised!!! You can see the girls at the following link http://stars.nhl.com/club/gallery.htm?id=30716.

Someone is 5… the other is 2!

Katie contacted me for a session to celebrate her kiddos birthdays. I can’t believe how much they have both grown! And look at how happy the kids look together. So much personality to go along with their big blue eyes!

“B” Family Session

Wednesday, September 14th, 2011

I met this beautiful family in Highland Park for a gorgeous afternoon session. I was so excited when Nancy contacted me and asked if I would photograph the dogs with her family. Of course!!! I have 2 dogs of my own and I love animals. A family portrait isn’t of the family unless everyone is in it! 🙂 It was such a pleasure meeting the family and it turns out that we know several of the same people!

This one is my ALL time favorite family image. They look like they should be on the cover of a clothing magazine!

The youngest daughter asked for this image! Girls and teddy bears… timeless!

As we walked away from the teddy bears I asked the girls to quickly pose in this spot. Now look serious… GOT IT! They are GORGEOUS!

I was able to catch just a little sun ray streaming through the trees. Again, these girls are gorgeous!

Happy Birth Day Tylan!

Monday, September 5th, 2011
I was anxious all day long waiting for Rich to call and tell me it was time to take the drive to Flower Mound. Thank goodness I got the call BEFORE rush-hour. As I was driving I could see a line of cars form behind me. I arrived at the hospital to find Ashley already at 9 1/2 cm. The baby was in a little distress so they had to put her on her knees to relieve some of the pressure. The nurses informed her that a C-section might be in order which put Ashley in distress. After about 30 minutes they allowed Ashley to turn over and give a couple of pushes. The baby was doing better but a C-section was still possible. The nurses quickly called the Dr. to let her know that Ashley was ready to go and the baby needed to get out. It only took about 15 minutes for the Dr. to get to the room and to get Ashley prepped to push and deliver her baby. I settled into the background and got as many images as I could from my angle. I think Ashley pushed a total of 7 times before Tylan joined us in the room. As tears fell from my eyes I could see the relief on Ashley’s face. I think Rich was still in shock! The nurses immediately put Tylan on Ashley’s belly and from then on there was nothing but smiles! This was, other than the birth of my own boys, the most AMAZING experience!!! Ashley, you are so strong and probably the ONLY mom that can cut-up and tell jokes inbetween pushes. Thank you so much for one of the best experiences of my life! Congrats and Love!
